Whether you’re a new mom or an old pro, we all know babies grow crazy fast. One day they are tiny newborns, and the next day they’re running around the house, smiling, and laughing.
Milestone photo sessions are a great way to capturing how much your baby grows and changes throughout the first year of their life.
Newborn photo sessions are typically taken within the first two weeks of birth, milestone baby sessions are taken at various points throughout baby’s first year. The most common milestone months are
3 months
6 months
9 months
12 months
While these are not set in stone, they are the most commonly used by photographers to photograph your baby.
So why have professional baby milestone photos taken?
Because you, as a parents, want to remember how small your baby was and how much they have grown in such a short time.
At 3 months, they might be smiling but will still be on their belly and back. By 6 months of age, your child will probably be sitting up or sitting up easily with some assistance. By 9 months, your baby will be mobile with some sort of crawling. And by 12 months, they’ll be standing, maybe walking, but they will definitely be coming into their own personality.
That is a lot of change in such a short time!
