The weather will eventually change in Central Texas to spring, summer, and a beautiful fall. All of our seasons are beautiful to have your family photos taken in!
Chances are you might want to get your family photo session booked before the craziness of school schedules take over or you’re a planner and are on top of things! A common question I get asked is “But Emily, where should we have our session?!?”
The last thing I want you to do is have to stress over what location is best for you family photo shoot. It should be fun! So I’m listing a few great locations to have family photos taken in Round Rock.
Downtown/Urban Round Rock
Often overlooked, downtown Round Rock is quite beautiful! It has a bunch of fun walls and textures for photos.
Brushy Creek Area
We are lucky enough to live in an area with a beautiful running through it! I love having water in the background of family photos. There’s lots of different areas around the city with access to the creek for great photos.
Parks
Round Rock has so many beautiful parks to choose from! Parks with gorgeous trees, open fields, and small creeks. These parks are especially gorgeous in the fall when all the leaves are changing colors. The changing fall leaves make a gorgeous background for family photos!
Bridges
I love photographing families on walking bridges. And we are lucky enough to live in an area where there are a lot! The straight lines and linear flow work well to draw the eye into a photos and make your family the center of attention!
Open Fields
Open fields can make a great backdrop when photographed correctly. I know of a few open fields in Round Rock and just outside of it that are great for family photo shoots!
