It’s winter in Texas.

That means it can be sunny and mild one day then cloudy, windy, and cold the next day. Texas weather in winter is pretty unpredictable. We never know if it will be a cold winter, a mild winter, a wet winter, or a combination of all three plus you can sprinkle a dose of windy just for fun.

All the leaves are off the trees and most parks look bare and uninviting. Most of my clients do not want a barren, leafless landscape for the background of family pictures. Honestly, it’s not that attractive.

   With as unpredictable as Central Texas weather can be, it’s always nice and cozy inside your home.

2. You don’t have to worry about lighting!
   While I love shooting outside at golden hour at your in-home family photo shoot, you don’t have to worry about bad lighting either. Dark rooms? No problem! Why? Because I’ll bring my entire lighting set-up to your house. I have studio lights that will bring natural looking light to your house in order to capture beautiful family photos.

3. Family is the heart of a home!
   A home is just a house until a family lives there. This is the one place your family gathers everyday to make memories. The kitchen table you gather to eat dinner. The comfy couch you congregate to watch movies and your favorite sports teams. The kitchen you cook your family meals in. You live your lives in this wonderful house, so why not capture your family photos in it? They will be the most memorable since your photos were taken in the place where you live.
