7 Mother's Day gifts for Mom

Mother’s Day is right around the corner! Do you know what you’re going to get her?

This year has flown by for me, and I can’t believe Mother’s Day is so close.

I know shopping for Mother’s Day gifts can be stressful, so I’ve put together a short list of some ideas for what you can get your Mom/Grandma/Stepmom (or anyone special in your life) for Mother’s Day.

Photo printed on glass by Fracture

I love these and one in my house. Fracture takes your photo and prints them on glass as a wall hanging. These are great for someone that doesn’t want to mess with framing, likes clean lines, and has a modern flare. Tthey are priced really well from $17-$135 for their largest.

Digital photo frame

We are all guilty of taking lots of pictures but never printing and framing them to put up in our house. This is a great way to see the photos you’ve taken either by a professional photographer or on your phone. Digital photo frames range in price from $100-$300 just depending on what you are looking for.

Customized Mother’s Day Photo card

Instead of sending her a normal card, send your Mom a customized Mother’s Day Card! Artifact Uprising is offering a free Mother’s Day card if you order by May 1, 2018. I love their prints and cards. They use heavy card stock and quality printing. While you’re there, take a look at their beautiful prints, frames, photo books, and prints with wood stands.

Custom set of photo coasters

Perfect for everyday use! There are a lot of places that have custom photo coasters. These are perfect for Grandma with lots of grandkids!

Subscription to Click Magazine

Does your Mom enjoy photography? Wants to learn more about photography? This magazine is perfect for everyone at any level! I read my cover to cover when it comes it. It has amazing tips! Plus, this gift gives all year round.

A camera charm

My husband gave me this one to put on my charm bracelet, and I love it! Especially since I’ve started shooting with film. This charm is super cute and really affordable! Check it out at here.

A gift certificate for family photos

Haven’t had family photos taken in awhile? Does Mom want updated photos to put up on the wall? Give it to her! Myself and many other photographers offer gift certificates for Moms because we know how much they want it! Contact me for your photo gift certificate.

These are just a few fun ideas to get you started! Take care of your Mom on Mother’s Day!

A special shout out to this Mom who had a special photo shoot with her son before she went out for Basic Training in the US Air Force. Thank you very much for your service and sacrifice!

Wishing you a Happy Mother’s Day!
Emily

Family Photo Sessions | Round Rock, TX

I love photographing large families.  Whether it's large extended families or just immediate family members, the craziness of a family session is really energizing for me.  I know from experience trying to get all your kids to look at the camera, relax, have fun and smile seems completely impossible.  How do I know this?  Because trying to photograph my four children in one nice photo for their grandparents seems near impossible to me.

But getting a large group of kids who aren't my own to do it?  Piece of cake!

These kids were great!  Even the youngest who kept wondering off was fun to be around and photograph.  Family sessions don't have to be stressful.  Just walk in knowing I, the professional photographer you hired, has it under control.  Just sit back, relax, and allow me to capture your family is some fun, great photos.

Teen and his Labrador Photo Session | Pflugerville, TX

Photographing this handsome teenager and his beautiful yellow Labrador was a lot of fun.  These were a surprise Christmas gift for some family members, so we had to keep the whole thing under wraps until after Christmas.  The Lab, whose name is Baxter, was definitely an active boy during the photo shoot.  It took a bit of bribing and some commands of 'sit and stay' from Mom and I to get him to cooperate.  I'm pretty sure the doggie treats helped out a lot!  But he was a really good boy (and so was his teenage buddy!).  Check out these two handsome young fellows!

Family Christmas Photos | Round Rock, TX

Even though it's nearly a month past Christmas, I'd love to share this family photo session I did in Downtown Round Rock.  I love this family!  I photographed their daughter's one year old photos over the summer, and I love seeing how much she's grown in 6 months time!  They really are the sweetest family!  Even though it was pretty chilly, we toughed it out by the large Christmas tree and giant Ornament ball in Downtown Round Rock to capture some great family photos.

Family Photo Session | Pflugerville, TX

Photographing this family was eventful!  It was the first time they had ever had family portraits done!  I was humbled and honored that Mom contacted me and asked me to photograph their family for the first time.

Mom and Dad had the sweetest little girls.  We had a few updates and downs because the girls got a little hungry.  And the poor one year old had a fresh cold, so her nose was a little runny.  Luckily, we had a warmish December day to work with.  In the end, their family photos turned out beautiful, and I was very happy to deliver them to the family.  Enjoy this beautiful family photo session in Pflugerville.

'Dirt in the skirt!' Love it!
